Nishchaya Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that aims to advance children’s rights and education,equality for women,promote education and protect the environment thus creating a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable ,excluded and marginalized people, their families, and communities.
Set up in 2011 Nishchaya Foundation has improved the lives of thousands of people by providing them access to quality education & healthcare services, a healthy & secure environment and livelihood opportunities.We have our policies, procedures, systems, practices, work culture and audits well in place to reflect our commitment to accountability and transparency.
Nishchaya Foundation believes that it can’t achieve its program vision in silos so it builds a partnership with CSO networks and collaborates with the government. It prioritized the participation process while working with the community and committed to listening to their point of view, utilizing local and indigenous knowledge and practices. It leads to building their confidence.We believe that one of the most effective ways to achieve lasting, transformational change is through local solutions,created in direct partnership with the people themselves, which deepens impact and promotes empowerment.We make sure that people are the center of our values and, therefore, any programming should be based on an effective partnership, which leads to trust- the foundation of change. Thus, we do not only focus on change in itself but hold a firm belief that how change is achieved is as important as the change itself. We also believe in an integrated approach that tackles problems causing suffering to populations from all angles through measurable and effective methods. This should be carried out through empowering people by building their ability to live a decent life, earn a dignified living, and benefit from the sustainable use and management of the resources available to them.
One of our core expertise are capacity building and grooming youth and budding entrepreneurs. Poverty is in the minds of people, a principle that we believe in and is one the ethos of our organization. Our youth are continuously working to make their communities self reliant and independent. Bringing change in one’s mentality and attitude takes time and resources. Over the years we have had like-minded supporters from different parts of the world.
